My New Years Resolution was to begin art again...so here i am.

Witht he giving of a lovely japanese ink set i've began ink painting...which is a relaxing and wonderfull way to do art.

It is unforgiving, you make a mistake and it cannot be undone, and i love it for that. Everything must be right the first time, it's guess work in ink consistancy, your never sure if a lne will look right. And it's dramatic, somethingi found unsatisfying about pencil.

The ink captures something pencil can't, probably because pencil can be changed and perfected, ink shows what you are, because there are no second chances.

Well, leave me in my happy dream land. I hope to be uploading more often again soon.
